This year I wanted to make my resolutions really simple and provide action plans to obtain them, not only for myself to look back on but so you guys can join me if we have similar goals!
1. Organize/Minimalize Our Home – I plan to declutter and get rid of everything we don’t need before the end of the year. I’m giving myself a year because we have a lot of updates we want to make on our house. This is probably my #1 goal, as I’ve noticed we have too many things in every category. Dishes, clothing, toys, electronics, appliances, etc. One solution is we’ll be adding shelves to each closet and possibly in the basement closet. I specifically want to declutter the children’s toys ASAP (because I’m tired of stepping on Hot Wheels) and clothing. We have a lot of clothes that we don’t wear that are sitting around our home taking up space. With those clothes, I plan to sell first and then donate what isn’t accepted.
2. Build my immune system – I know this sounds crazy but I’m STILL recovering from the flu (on week 3!)! It was honestly one of the worst experiences for me in the world. I want to focus on stocking up elderberry and vitamin C and incorporating more fruits and vegetables in our diets. We actually have a new Clean Juice in our area that I want to visit soon. You guys should check if you have one in the area or any juice bar as it’s a great way to sneak in fruits/veggies!
3. Declutter My Phone & Computer – I don’t know about you but I have way too many photos on my phone and laptop. I keep getting “storage full” notifications! I ordered a Chatbook of Royce’s first year of life to remove the special images of him off of my phone. This way I can also share it with others who come to our home as well as in the future for us to look back on. I’m also planning to upgrade my Macbook in 2020 so one goal is go through files at the end of each month.
